We are seeking an Environment Artist to join a top-tier, experienced game studio team in Stockholm to help craft cutting edge AAA game environments. We are interested in hearing from both associate to senior level artists for multiple positions. The aim for this position is to be on-site but can start remotely.

As an Environment Artist you will collaborate in a small, interdisciplinary team to create art for the game's world and all of its components. This role will be heavily involved in outsourcing, cleanup and integration. In addition you should be able to take assets all the way from conceptual mockups through modelling and texturing as well as work with outsource integration and cleanup. The game developers on the team primarily work with Unreal Engine.

The ideal candidate has previous experience from gaming and not only from TV, advertising etc.

Essential (must have) skills, knowledge and experience

  • English language proficiency
  • Excellent modelling and texturing skills using Autodesk Maya and Adobe
  • Experience with Algorithmic Substance Designer or Painter
  • Experience with Photoshop
  • Experience with physically-based rendering
  • A strong portfolio with clearly-documented artistic accomplishments
  • A great sense of technical know-how and functional problem-solving
  • Passion for making and playing games

Qualifying skills, knowledge and experience

  • AAA game development experience
  • Experience with Zbrush
  • Experience with photogrammetric asset creation workflows

Rate: Dependent on experience in SEK per hour. Please provide your all-inclusive rate when applying.

All pay rates stated are on a B2B self-employed or company basis provided that the requirements for such operating in Sweden are fulfilled. Fixed-term employment engagement is also available
