Azure Lead Developer

We are seeking an experienced Azure Lead Developer for our finance client in Stockholm.

Key experience and qualifications required

  • 7+ years in IT and at least 4+ years of experience working on Azure Cloud
  • Hands on experience in Microsoft Azure covering - designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining cloud applications and related services
  • Strong understanding of core concepts - data storage, compute, data cleansing (ELT/ETL) and data engineering concepts
  • Clear understanding of core cloud concepts – IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, know-how of security – both data and platform
  • Hands on experience working with Azure Data bricks
  • Good Experience working with Azure DevOps, Generic CI/CD process and Dev ops tools such as GIT/Jenkins/Maven
  • Strong programming skill sets which may include – Python, Scala, Java (At least one)
  • Knowledge and exposure to structured and semi structured data, related file formats, partitioning strategies, effective and efficient storage of data in relational and non-relational storages

Valuable experience and qualifications

  • Azure Certifications – Azure Fundamentals, Azure Developer, Azure Data Engineer
  • Experience working with Azure Data Factory, Azure Cosmos, Azure Functions, Azure Machine Learning
  • Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Detail-oriented analytical and problem-solving skills
  • End to end data pipeline development and unit testing experience

Language

Fluent English. Swedish is valuable but not compulsory.

Working arrangements
